Stripe
A series of pigment and resin-based works exploring the language of colour, rhythm and division. The project examines how bands of colour can structure surface, refract light, and shift perception through material, depth and layering.
Using collage as a generative method, fragments of image and colour are organised into striped compositions, then translated into print and encased or extended through resin, creating a tension between flatness and volume, opacity and translucency.
Through this process, stripe becomes both structure and experience: a material system where colour is embedded, suspended and distorted, and where the work moves between graphic precision and immersive surface.
