A Place to Hide
A series of works exploring the interplay of sound and image through simple, gestalt-based principles. The project investigates how fundamental design concepts—such as figure-ground, proximity, similarity, and continuity—can structure both visual and auditory material to enhance perception and comprehension. By translating auditory patterns into visual forms, the work examines rhythm, balance, and spatial relationships, creating compositions where sight and sound inform and reflect one another. Through iterative experimentation, these pieces explore how minimal visual cues and structured audio can generate immersive experiences, highlighting how humans perceive and interpret complex sensory information.
