Tokaido
“Tokaido” is an audio-visual work inspired by the Shinkansen bullet train from Kyoto to Tokyo. It captures the sensation of speed and movement, translating shifting landscapes and urban-rural contrasts into layered visuals and immersive sound.

Through dynamic imagery, rhythmic editing, and immersive sound design, the work evokes the continuous flow of travel, the contrasts between urban and rural spaces, and the fleeting moments of observation that define a journey at high velocity.

U Turn
In times of unrest, public action challenges established systems—from eviction law to student grades and PPE—giving rise to new forms of expression and discourse.

This audio-visual work explores the ‘U-turn’—literally and abstractly—as a response to protest and a shift toward new directions. Combining speeches, quotes, and live recordings from politicians, it questions how structured landscapes shape our perception and consciousness.

Fog
This piece of work is a collaboration with the composer Amos Cochran, combining visual and auditory approaches to explore the interplay between sound, space, and perception. Together, we investigate how compositional structures can inform and interact with visual design, creating a multidisciplinary experience where music and imagery converge to shape rhythm, atmosphere, and spatial understanding.
