Compositions, where the grid functions not as a rigid system but as a framework for testing relationships between fragments, surfaces and voids. Individual designs become units within a spatial structure, allowing shifts in scale, repetition and interruption to generate meaning.
Within these arrangements, the grid operates as both ordering device and site of disruption, where traces of the existing intersect with constructed systems of display.
